Forums - Gaming Discussion - Wiis are getting returned???

Maybe they are selling them for Drug/alcohol Money? I know people who have done this

Around the Network

Judging from the thread title alone (as a lot of users do) this won't end well...

hmmm... well at least some of them will be re buying them, I hope

OMG!1!! Someone call iSuppli!

Maybe people have received them as gifts etc. and now are taking them back to get the money.

As for the peoples personal finance planning, you need to take into account, that the oil price is record high and it has hit US the most, since oil is traded in USD, while USD has been going down (these things relate to each other).

By the way, i have an investment advice: buy an appartment from Manhattan. USD is low, appartment prices in US has gone down and Manhattan should be one of the places, where the prices go up fast, after US financials are back on track and USD goes up again.

LOL. The amount of Wii owners posting about this thread being trollish and missleading is hillarious.

Wii is the cheapest console, the fact it is being returned shows the point of this topic and supports what the SSj12 was trying to say...the end.

Hmm, I'd have accepted it's not a trolling thread title if you at least have said in your first post that more Wii's were getting returned, but it's not the case. You said a larger amount of PS3's and 360's were returned. This is no doubt a flamebait/troll thread.

To answer the OP, well, here in south america we can't even buy more than 1 console for the entire gen in most of our cases. Maybe the oil prices are starting to affect US citizens pockets, and people start to realize there's not a lot of money to be wasted in entertainment. Well at least here in SA that's always the case :/

if people are sending back ps3 then it must be bad

troll topic

actually I believe that this sudden rush of wii's being returned is not a sign of the economic turmoil we are all about to head into, but instead a sign that people now understand that the wii is just a toy and are now bored of it (because it is the cheapest of the 3 consoles so it couldn't be due to money constraints).

Only joking, but I am surprised that no one made that call already.

Anyway, people are really squeezing every penny these days, there was a story in the news last night, one petrol station owner was charging 10c less than his competitors for a "happy hour" sort of thing, heaps of people queuing up to get petrol, at least 20 cars were stuck in traffic trying to get into the station constantly during that hour. The competitor down the street with his 10c higher petrol, not a single customer that whole time.

We are all in for a rough couple of years.
