Forums - General Discussion - Barack Obama better choose Hillary Clinton as VP...

I'm not american but it's clear who he should choose.

But personally i think the wrong democratic nominee won, Hillary should've taken it cause really she's the one who's got the most newest voters into the party. All he got was the youth vote who are unreliable when it comes to voting, and she's got the most experience to boot along with the popular vote and won ALL of the big states which is important in an election.

So the voters were stupid to bring him in, not to mention racist is still huge in the states and that'll probably cost the democrats the election if he doesn't bring Hillary in since she got the women and old white people vote.

Even the polls have them at a virtual tie...proving he aint no shoe-in. He may give a fine good speech, but bring someone else in to debate him, he's a scared puppy. and dealing with leaders is what the president always does.

the young vote is most important. We are the ones who will run the USA.

Also he better not. Hilary is a horrible candidate.

I fully agree with ssj12 here.

why the hell would he pick a VP who spent 6 months insulting him?

I'll agree with the second part, but judging by the fact that we yung'uns never vote in large enough numbers to make a difference, I'll have to disagree with the first part.

As for the topic starter: I'm afraid I can't agree with any of your assertions, and I question many of your facts as well (most notably the part about Hilary bringing in the most new voters, especially when you contradict yourself in the next sentence!)

if Hillary becomes VP she will try and run him out of office by making him look like a fool, she will try her hardest to out shine him and they will probably disagree on every major issue. If i was him, i wouldnt do that.

Who cares. The only vice President that will actually matter is John McCain's because he could conceivably die in office.

If Hillary was vice president all she would do is sit on the bench and lobby for universal healthcare.

He needs a woman who is a mentally and physically handicapped lesbian hispanic jew. That should about cover all the bases to guilt people into voting for him! FTW!

Yes

Hillary is horrible. Her healthcare system is totally out of whack and her view of video games is completely warped (There is more, but I'll keep it simple for this forum). Im glad Obama was chosen. No worries though. There is no way he would choose Clinton for VP.

Obama brought in many more voters than Hillary. The man was packing arenas from coast to coast in Democrat leaning states and Republican leaning states. His fundraising alone(nearly $250 million, mostly in small increments) is a reliable gauge as to how many voters are excited about this guy. And recent polls(as of today go to realclearpolitics.com) show him starting to edge upwards against McCain just beyond the margin of error. It's not over till it's over. Talk about who his veep will be are wildly premature. How come no one's interested in who John McCain's veep nominee will be? Watching the media, you'd figure only one person was running.
