Forums - Gaming Discussion - what game have you played the most?

Yeah, I agree that if you were to do all that 6 times it would equal several hundred. Not 1000. And if you did it 6 times, you are easily entertained, because all the dungeons are the same, and the story isn't particularly great, and the combat isn't particularly great. Don't get me wrong I like the game and beat it, but 1000 hours worth of gameplay it ain't.

I have to say, after 500+ hours, I'm pretty much tired of Oblivion.  The aspect of the game that really hooked me wasn't the fighting, spellcasting, story, etc.  It was the chance to step into a virtual world where I could freely roam the countryside, stop at an inn for something to eat, buy some armor, then head home to a house I bought and furnished.  It's like a version of Second Life that actually has some adventure to it.

Yeah... it's not for everyone.  But I like it.

My current fixation is on Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.  That is one cool game.  Interesting storyline and a lot more realizm than Oblivion in some ways, even thought the story *is* linear.  For example, in my first battle with a guard I hit him with a third arrow and he turned and began limping away yelling, "I could use some backup, here!"

Yeah, it's not a world simulator like Oblivion, but it's the most fun dungeon crawl I've had since Diablo II.

Easily Call of Duty 4. I've played this game more than any other game, ever.

I've logged over 260 hours...online, then maybe 10 or so hours on single player.

Oblivion would be second. I probably put in 75-100 hours. It doesn't record play time like CoD4 does, so i have no idea.

Edit: I forgot to factor in my PS3 version of CoD4. So the total on that game online would be closer to 290 hours, then about 15-20 hours on single player.

Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. Ive been playing it for probably almost 4 years now. Its starting to die off but there are still many communities left.

Madden 2007. I only buy Madden every other year, so it gets a lot of consistent playing. I love making franchises, winning superbowls, going undefeated, moving my teams from city to city all to have my memory card corrupt it so I have to start over.

It doesn't? It should just like on the PC version where you see total amount of days+hours displayed on each save game file.

Pokemon Blue & Final Fantasy VIII

Final Fantasy Tactics I played over 2,000 hours and Gauntlet Legends on N64 I've got a Lvl. 99 Red Wizard with Exp. points that can't be tallied anymore. Probably around another 2,000 hours on that. After that Ogre Battle 64 and Wrestlemania 2000 would be up there to.

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.
