Another slap in the face of the Wii.

Seriously people, its time to wake up, we can't use the, "but development begain before anyone knew the Wii would be a success" argument anymore with shit like this happening. Developers don't want the Wii to be a success, they have too much invested in the HD market to backtrack now and if they aren't trying to kill the Wii, they're certainly sending the message to Nintendo they want an HD console out of them.

Either they're trying to spite Nintendo for not playing ball and making an HD console like the others or they're simply trying to protect this new market formula of sequels and fewer genres.

I might be flamed for this but here I go.
You can't on one hand talk all the time about the Wii innovation and how it's something new and at the same time complain when old franchises with very little improvement over each iteration ( we're talking SF here, not a ground breaking fighting game) don't get ported to it....

Stop saying all the time that the Wii is different and then asking to get the same ole game !!!!

Considering that Ono said he wanted it on every platform I don't quite see what the reaction is all about. It's going to end up on the Wii eventually anyway, perhaps when Capcom gets to milking their yearly updates with tweaked attacks and a new character here and there.

So its more on control issues then? for me, thats the lamest excuse I've ever heard right now if that is true. Seem 3rd parties always make a crap excuse to not develop good game for the Wii right now.

Anyway, I just dont know when 3rd parties could hold on before they forced to make games on the Wii, just go to front page to see what I mean. The HD console weekly sales are shrinking atleast in america and the Wiis sales with constant 100,000-200,000 weekly...

Everyone on these boards marches to a predictable drum. I could have written down a bunch of responses on a piece of paper before this guy posted this and am quite confident that most of what I wrote would appear on this thread. Easily manipulated people.

Well atleast the sales of the Wiis are in alarming rate, after the NPD's numbers in May 3rd parties will think twice before they ditched the Wii.

Because not everybody can buy 2 or more consoles and there's no reason for that.

I am happy that I also bought a PS3. Wii only owners will Miss a lot this gen.

 I agree and it's probably what I'll end up doing.

 The Wii gets no (little) 3rd party respect.
