I believe BioShock to be a time exclusive because unlike gears of War there are no contractial ties to the 360.... it is soley a 3rd party game... last time i checked companies are in it for the money...  like someone stated already it is no different from everyone saying MGS4 or FF is gonna go multiplatform... the only difference is when a Ps3 owner says something to the same affect about another consoles game they get bashed...  how many times have i seen MGS4 threads on this website saying its going to the 360 and not going to the 360.. who knows how many more there are ive only been apart of this site for 2 months

Here's an example. A real one. Did Sega fans think Sonic would start appearing on Nintendo platforms 3 years after the Genesis was replaced by the Saturn? I suspect they guessed "no, he won't." And they guessed wrong.

So again, if the marquee franchise of Sega can turn in to a third party franchise in three years time, so can Team Ico's games. It's unlikely, but it's possible. Any game, be it Gran Turismo or Gears of War, could theoretically be on a rival platform years from now. Can we agree? Or are you going to insipidly insist that this somehow is magically impossible? That the world would explode before Gran Turismo ended up on another platform?

This isn't a rhetorical question. I want an answer. Is it possible Gran Turismo will be on the Xbox360 or Wii or Xbox720 or Wii2? Is that possible? Just answer yes or no, please.

 there is a big difference between ff and mgs from bioshock and gears.  ff and mgs are made on engines for ps3 only.  they were never planned for ports and arent likely to be.  it would probably cost more than what they would make.

 

bioshock was start as a ps3, 360, pc title but suddenly ps3 was dropped.  publishers are more likely to make a dev tone down the game than drop a sku.  it is most likely that ms paid for a timed exclusive.  gears is being made on the multiplatform engine.  does anyone question the ease of a port? nope, and that is why these games (and 360, pc games) are more likely to be timed exclusives than ps3 games.

And it says Bioshock is 360 and PC only, so that pretty much settles any arguments currently, just like any arguments about MGS4 are basically closed.  Things could change, yes, but currently, don't get your hopes up.

Now, on a serious note, its amazing you people can somehow predict that Gears 3, if it is ever made, will be on the PS3 - a game that likely isnt in preproduction and atleast several years away.
