You don't get it, do you? Here's an example. A real one. Did Sega fans think Sonic would start appearing on Nintendo platforms 3 years after the Genesis was replaced by the Saturn? I suspect they guessed "no, he won't." And they guessed wrong. So again, if the marquee franchise of Sega can turn in to a third party franchise in three years time, so can Team Ico's games. It's unlikely, but it's possible. Any game, be it Gran Turismo or Gears of War, could theoretically be on a rival platform years from now. Can we agree? Or are you going to insipdly insist that this somehow is magically impossible? That the world would explode before Gran Turismo ended up on another platform? |
