Here's an example. A real one. Did Sega fans think Sonic would start appearing on Nintendo platforms 3 years after the Genesis was replaced by the Saturn? I suspect they guessed "no, he won't." And they guessed wrong.

So again, if the marquee franchise of Sega can turn in to a third party franchise in three years time, so can Team Ico's games. It's unlikely, but it's possible. Any game, be it Gran Turismo or Gears of War, could theoretically be on a rival platform years from now. Can we agree? Or are you going to insipdly insist that this somehow is magically impossible? That the world would explode before Gran Turismo ended up on another platform?

Apple might buy out ms nin and sony in 3 years, but right now lets get real ok.

Do you get it one is a a game from a independent developer, other is owned by a 60 billon dollar corporation. The chances of gears going to another platform may be just a tad more liklely.
