It doesn't need a particularly good week to pull off 650k, the sustained numbers the last few weeks have been in the 45-50k range mostly. 70-75k is almost probable in golden week!

 Yeah and we will still have only a few handful of games and developers who do not want to wast time to put a game on the wiii besides devlopers who work with nintendo!

 Because clearly the HD consoles got no hardware boost at all from GTA. Reread the charts, man, I think you missed a few key details...

Like come on, its having its best non holiday week ever during GTA4 week!

Lots of retailers in the USA got a supply of Wiis comparable to Black Friday week in 2007 (the biggest week of the year) for this week.

Even if it's an overtrack, it shouldn't be by too much given VGC's track record. It wouldn't be overtracked enough to make people stop thinking "why did Wii have it's best non-holiday week during GTA4 release."

This happened because Nintendo fired their big gun as well, only they two guns: MKWii and sending 400k Wiis to the americas for it's launch. Sony and MS don't have a second gun.
