Or possibly someone from Tokio Mirage Sessions #FE, since that game comes out the day after?

Yes, that's what SSBU needs. Instead of another Fire Emblem character of which there are already too many, let's have a character from a game where people fight like Fire Emblem characters.

Yeah, I wouldn't be a fan of it, it's just that Nintendo used Smash in the past to promote games, and this release is just so close behind, so it would make sense from a business perspective.

But I have another contender: Travis Touchdown! Complete with the release date for No more Heroes III matching his release at Smash!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series!

Guess that probably means no direct this month as I'd think they'd first the reveal the character separate from Sakurai's showcase like they always have.

Yeah, uber unlikely, but with the popularity of the game and the release of Silksong this year I think theres at least an itty bitty chance.

Oh yea I forgot, VGChartz hates Smash

Anyways, me and my best friend's most wanted characters got in Smash (Joker and Terry), so I hope the next character is either Byleth from Fire Emblem, or a joke character (Wooloo from Pokémon) just to mess with everyone here

Dante is what is speculated as DMC3's team tweeted the date of the 16th earlier this month about incoming news on the Switch version which is confirmed to be enhanced over other versions.
