But I didn't say that. Actually what I said means : PSVR didn't push anything as gamepass as well. Don't make me say what I haven't said.

---------------

As for me, I would be interest in PSVR 2 if there is less cables.

And I elaborated on that in a comment afterwards. The comparison is ridiculous and don't be vague with your statements.

?

I write what I want to write.

Does anyone really think he simply "changed his opinion on VR"? That JUST NOW he's decided that gaming is "communal" and VR is "isolating"? If so, might I interest you in a cheap motion control software system I'm selling at way below market value?

This is Spencer throwing shade at the competition as subtly as possible. If Microsoft purchased a VR studio tomorrow, Phil would be back to tell us that VR is the future of gaming.

The funny thing is , the title of this thread that has been changed by mod is not represented of what Phil said in the interview.

Your updates make even less sense than prioritizing VR in 2020. Of course Ninja Theory said the future of gaming will be VR. I think most people believe that. But the future isn’t next gen. Maybe the gen after that VR will be mainstream.

And it’s known that MS originally planned for VR on Xbox. But I can only assume by their later comments about it that they saw the games and sales and realized it’s not worth it. That update only backs Spencer’s opinions up more.

And afaik it doesn’t rule out VR on Scarlett. Just not from Microsoft.

My updated's is just natural way on adding new info that related to OP, rather than making a new thread , If i found any new  info about his past vision and contradicted with his own statement it can be a good topic.

And No they are not planning anything except by following others people and others company step. They just observing which will make a good profit, they think VR is not good they will just wait and see, the same thing with CLoud where Sony took it first and make it mainstream then they see it as opportunity then they follow Sony. Hell even they want to copied Sony single player driven games like Uncharted and God of War by acquiring Ninja Theory LOL. In the past they are copying Sony to make simulation racing like Gran Turismo and ended up with Forza.

I am not saying it's bad to copying other company or waiting to be profitable or mainstream, it's just how he respond and damage controlling is bad, and shows that he is a pure PR guy that when making a statement is not really a trusted and honest.

Yes yes, I remember now that Sony created cinematic single player gaming and sim racers. Thankfully Sony exists otherwise we wouldn’t have these. They also created cloud gaming, even though PSNow grew from Gaikai which was a cloud gaming company Sony bought. Also, is PSNow really that popular that MS would want to hurry and copy it? Also, didn’t Sony just partner with MS to use Azure cloud servers for Sony’s cloud and streaming services? And yet you’re claiming MS is following Sony into this area 😆

Sony are making an MOU with Microsoft =/=  partnering , they are not even using Microsoft Azure for their gaming platform. Contradicted with what people believe. Hell even there is no relation with partnering and inventing. Also Azure is server that used for general purpose on internet. Cloud is just a service which still can exist without Azure.

I saw this on neogaf: (it does give you that "theres a console for you, a xb360" quote)

Xbox are basically saying, if you have any intresting in VR, dont buy our product.
