Forums - General Discussion - [Update] Officially two years cancer free

Was about to ask about how 2nd operation went but then saw follow up post saying that want biopsy first. I'd probably want to slap the doctor if they did that shit with me. Make up your damn mind or get your plans straight is what I'd think.

I need to quit few bad habits myself like smoking cigs... I mainly just enjoy them when drinking so perhaps I need to just quit both.

Anyways hope they figure shit out soon for your mental health. Try not be so worried. I'd suggest smoking weed to calm nerves but not everyone is into that. Your mental health is crucial right now because the more you worry the less your body has to fight. Stay positive.

I'm sincerely sorry to hear this news. I will pray for your recovery and pray for it to be benign.... Dont apologize for venting man... that's serious, scary news that will leave any man shaken to his core... anytime you need to vent, do it. Unload. I know we dont know each other, but anytime you need someone to talk to, I'm here too. I've had family with similar things. My wife had a tumor in her brain too, it was benign. Thank god. Dont give up hope. I will keep you in my prayers.

Mostly lurk on here, but just thought you should know I enjoy reading your posts.

Good luck man.

Thoughts are with you Curly. < 3

Bad news, finally got my results and it turns out it is malignant.

On the positive side though, it's also potentially curable. I should be starting a course of radiation therapy in the first week of January to try and shrink the tumor and kill any outlying nasty cells so it can be removed.

Trying to stay optimistic for a positive outcome.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope the treatment is successful. Reminds me of the movie 50/50. Have you seen it?

Oh god, curl, that sounds fucking dreadful; and so close to the holidays, too. Best wishes to you and your family.

I can't even imagine what you must be going through right now. Hang in there, buddy, you got this!
