Do you post introductions of yourself in this forum, or another one on here?  I am back after being gone for years.  I had a number of life changes, no longer have access to my old email address since I imposed ban on myself being on this site.  I had my old username suspended and moved on.

I am back, because I am looking to do stuff in the area of competitive game playing/Esports. I am interested assisting in organizing leagues and tournaments.  My focus isn't on the major stuff, but on games you do not have to be online the same time to play.  Stuff like speedruns, pinball, retro arcade and single player Indie games are what matter to me.  

I can go into more details on who I am another time.  I just wanted to introduce myself again.  Things have changed.  I figured being on here would be a good place to connect again.

There is an Introduce Yourself thread.  I found this one, but I think there was another somewhere.  You're welcome to post any info in this thread as well, or you might actually want to make your own thread, too, considering the scope of what you're hoping to do.  The choice is yours.  The traffic these days is much lighter than in previous years, so don't feel bad if you don't get a lot of engagement.  It's a dark time for console wars.

Nope! I love my job, I more meant at home hiding from my partner so I could get some peace time to myself! Looking back at things I should have probably read some of my own signs about my feelings there lol.

On mobile having to click that back arrow before you can submit is insane to me, I was away from my PC for the last week and I think I made around 3 posts on here. It was actually easier to PM members a reply than put it in the threads.

Thank you.  I did not see it. I remember years ago, it was pretty crazy.  I don't need tons of people, just enough.  My new name indicates my focus, which is finding people who can play a bunch of games better than most.  I will jump into that thread.  Console wars are pretty bad by their nature.  I think one of the last threads I may of read on here was one saying the videogame industry was doing real well, because GTA V sold real well.  Yes, it has been awhile.  Because I am interested in competitive games, it is a bonus for me that the industry is pursuing Esports to keep profits up.  I hold games will come and go.  A reason why I want to have players still connect is they may change games, and it is good to keep them connected.

Yup, also if I make a post on mobile you'll notice there's about 20 hard returns under the message, if I don't use those in Ireland the pop in adverts cover where the message would be typed, I find placing in the hard returns first then scrolling back up lets me see what is being typed into the strange text box that you need to click on firstly to type in....

This might sound very odd and I might have missed an easier way to post in that text box, but seriously if the text entry on a forum isn't intuitive or requires a FAQ then you've got a really bad barrier to posting on here that a lot of people will not bother with.

There were about 500 members logged in in the last day! Not sure about post count though....
