That's a potential for 39 million or so costum levels. Bold from Nintendo.

Another 10mil seller is on its way!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Amazing game. I love old Mario games, and getting to make levels based on them fills me with happiness.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

The summer has started great with this release. Now, let's make a good splash with FE Three Houses when the financial reports happen in November !

It's a good opening and in the next report the game should be featured in the top 10 highest selling games.

Agreed.

The first game sold 4 million lifetime on the Wii U, and the Switch sequel has now sold more than half of that total in its opening weekend alone.

The Switch is going to end up with a frankly scary number of 10-million-plus sellers when all's said and done, it already has 5 and it's just over 2 years old.

This game could have legs for years given that it has limitless potential and also streamers seem to have taken to it quite a lot and that gets the title in the eyes of potential buyers both of Switch hardware and software.

Fancy hearing me on an amateur podcast with friends gushing over one of my favourite games? https://youtu.be/1I7JfMMxhf8

This will definitely be the main 2D Mario game on the Switch. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against Odyssey though. It all depends on the legs. It might fall significantly short, sell about the same, or go significantly past Mario Odyssey. Too early to tell at this point.

Huge opening! Well deserved, the game eclipses the original on so many levels (no pun)
