Forums - Politics Discussion - Official 2020 US Election: Democratic Party Discussion

Biden was asked that if a M4A bill had congressional support and got to his desk would he veto it and he unnecessarily equivocated on vetoing it citing cost... Even WITH congressional support Biden isn't interested in passing it. That tells you all you need to know on whether he actually has poor, working class and poc's best interests in mind... He doesn't.

Well on the bright side of this Texas the Texas statehouse has a really good shot at turning blue this year. That would allow Texas democrats to have a huge say in redistricting, which would make Texas a swing state in the future.

Michigan, Missouri, and Mississippi called for Biden.

That's some "Solid South" margins in Mississippi.

I cannot believe the utter state of this party. I am truly in awe.

I'm not mad at you America, I'm just very very disappointed.

It's just all so ass backwards..

"We hold these truths to be self-evident - all men and women created by the, go-you know.. you know the thing!" - Joe Biden

I'm so fucking depressed. Feel really down about this.

Bernie just ...

Well, I'll vote for Biden in November.

Bernie should drop he has no chance of winning at this point. Also hoping Biden adds UBI to his platform or picks up Yang as a VP.

1). As Yang would point out, the math is still viable for Sanders.  We have to wait until the March 17th primaries.

2). Biden will never even consider UBI. Or any progressive policy. Period. Just wipe all progressive policies out of your mind if he's POTUS.  They don't exist for the next 5 years.

Andrew Yang: "I hereby am endorsing Joe Biden... The math says Joe is our prohibitive nominee. We need to bring the party together. We need to start working on defeating Donald Trump."
