Atlus doesn't do multi-platform releases (multi-platform in this case referring specifically to a series being bound to the console maker, not the console itself, IE a PS4 and Vita release is still bound to Sony) . I think Catherine is their only multi-platform release in the past 20 years. Before Catherine you'd had to go back to  1997's Devil Summoner which release first on Saturn and then on PS1 and then oddly enough on 3DS 15 years later.

Would be weird not to release the game on Switch at this point.

This company is too slow and honestly at this point Persona 5 is a pretty boring addition to the Switch lineup - we've been speculating about it's release since the Switch came out. They've supported 3DS better since the Switch's launch then the Switch. I am not personally upset at the lack of their games on the system and I hope that SMTV gets the time it needs to be, but dang so far Atlus is far and away the worst major company that "supports" the Switch lol.

Don't think it will be on Switch. False leakers are just giving toxic Nintendo fans a reason to spam Atlus about something they didin't promise.

I've been pretty confident P5 would come to Switch. Switch extremely popular in Japan and its popularity is still growing. They are going to put as many Japanese PS4 games on it as possible. Too many people in Japan don't play at home and would miss the game otherwise.

Still Catherine Full Body was released on PS4/Vita. Sony won't let the mainline Persona games slip aswell.

I wouldn't be surprised if Catherine Full Body eventually comes to Switch either.
