Atlus made a huge mistake with Catherine on vita, should have been a switch title

Not to mention releasing it at a bad time, since this is the month that Vita cart's are getting discontinued. So I am willing to bet it there isn't even that many copies that were shipped out to retailers and is probably end up becoming quite the collectors item for importers and Japanese vita collectors.

I didn’t even think about this, more proof that this was a disaster of a release

Yeah Catherine Fully Body really should of been a PS4 + Switch release, I am certain at least a Switch version would of done better then the Vita version in Japan and would of been able to be released along side the PS4 version in September for its English release.

Will be interesting to see if the rumors about P5R being a PS4 + Switch ended up coming true, the platform split when it comes to sales is gonna be interesting. With Joker being in Smash and the PS4 already having the vanilla Persona 5 could give it the edge, but you never know what will happen.

I think Catherine did decently for a remaster (although I'm not sure how much of the additional content is actually substantial). Jump Force had a pretty big drop from J Stars on PS3/V, but there's been a lot of this type of game on PS4 in the past few years. I'm not surprised that it didn't start very well.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

An amazing week for Switch again. HW speaks for itself. Playstation 4 and all these releases... it's just not going to happen anymore. They need drastic price cuts in Japan.

Data:

Switch doesn't want to let the 3DS grow too much of an advantage

It's out for blood. Next victim is PS4.

For some reason I missed this week. Anyways nice to see Nobunaga's Ambition did okay, could be a lot better though. The Switch version is really lagging behind the PS4 version. KH3 still moving but KH collection finally dropped.
