Thanks for the update!

Slowest week for the switch so far this year.
Was there an important release on week 18 last year?
Because it had a 30K increase that week.

PS4 almost 1.2M behind already. Seriously at this point, I don't see it selling 16M even with a 100$ pricecut anymore, sales are just dropping too quickly and the console doesn't have the same heavy hitters coming that it had last year, most notably Spiderman and RDR2.

The Switch version of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze released that week. That was pretty much the biggest release Nintendo had first half of last year, so of course it spiked up that moment.

I'm back!
My apologies for the extremely long wait and hiatus.
I've been going through a tough stretch lately where life is just giving me a dose of problems and setbacks. Shit happens, y'know?
And while things are still difficult, I'm trying to remain optimistic and move forward. With that said, I've neglected this thread for far too long! Time to get back at it!
I just posted the updates from weeks 19 and 20!

Week 21 Numbers have just been added.
The Nintendo Switch has just cracked the 5 million mark for 2019. For comparison's sake, it took the Switch 27 weeks to do that in 2018, so far it's 6 weeks ahead.

I expect the gap to widen a lot after the release of Mario maker 2. The switch seems to have a much more consistent release schedule for big titles for the rest of the year after that.

So the Switch is tracking to have an 18M selling year. Thats pretty impressive.

PS4 is also impressive to be tracking just around 500k behind the Switch. But that rumored $200 PS4xs will do a lot for its sales. Should help it maybe ht 15M to 16M sales for the year.

PS4 holds it pretty well considering its age and its price point, I remember buying a brand new Ultra-Slim PS3 at 167€ for GTA V (so in late 2013) 7 years after the initial release of the console; now the PS4 is entering soon in its 7th year and still is sold at 299

Week 22 Numbers have just been added and PS4 numbers for the last 4 weeks were adjusted down, but just a little bit.

You need to correct the PS4 numbers, it's 1.4M behind last year's numbers, not 1.5M
