Would be super suprised if ps4 won black friday let alone november, its no where to be seen on amazon.

It will, otherwise I will be surprised, it seems Amazon and Sony had some sort of spat this year. So the quantity they receive and send out is limited.

Yeah that spat has really made amazon pretty irrelevant as a hardware predictor. Can't use it to predict when it doesn't represent the norm in the market anymore. At least things like the ps plus cards are stock right so we see it's true potential. However can't say the same for the regular psn cards. They've often not be stocked as a result of the spat.

Just Dance Wii's version sold better than PS4/Xbone versions ... the casual market is still here guys :O

Just shows that despite ps4 having insane sales it's mostly to the hardcore market. I'd say if they sold ps4 for 199 for 2 years or more it would start picking up the casuals.

Interesting stuff guys. Benji says those who bought Pokémon showed particular interest in other games such as Just Dance 2019, Mario Kart 8 DX, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Super Mario Party.

Mario Kart is forever green, it's always going to a top seller. Ubisoft titles due to heavy discount and SMP a new game while also seeing a bundle with joycons.

At least that's my take.

Well we all knew that the issue with the PS4 will be stock.

This doesnt apply to any SKUs outside of the Spiderman bundle as far as I'm concerned.

Correct me if I'm wrong though..

Of curse it doesn't. And why should it? We have seen all year how the PS4 will sell at $299 for a 5 year old console.

This time of the year is about deals. Or in the case of the switch being the new kid on the block.

I doubt anyone here felt that at $299 the PS4 would break records, but at $199...... most have said it all comes down to stock. They would sell out of whatever amount they put out. Proof of that is that the stock never lasted more than a couple of hours.

Some big gains for Switch in the USA since the last update.

The neon Switch at #1 on UK Amazon has only five consoles left and has jumped on price to Above rrp by £32.

Big surprise for ps4 UK. It won Black Friday and it had terrible deals compared to xbox. Amazon suggested a big switch victory but it came third

Going ny that article all three performed very similarly. I would class all three as having great Black Fridays!

Switch and ps4 sure. Xbox nah. They needed insane deals compared to ps4 and Switch just to get close.

Honestly, not surprising.  Europe is PS4 land, has been for ages.  Xbox has only stayed *relevant* via deals.  And Amazon UK was never held up as an accurate predictor.  The only Amazon that ever accurately predicted sales ranking for any region was the US.

If it wasn't surprising ps4 would have won by a landslide.

Ithad terrible deals compared to xbox and UK is its second strongest market where it actually beat ps3 last gen. d
