In any case, for me personally Wii U, it had more core Nintendo games that I was interested it, Wii had too much casual games for my taste.

My name is COKTOE. Welcome! You are very handsome.

Wii.

Really the only thing WiiU did better was Mario Kart, even though I played Mario Kart Wii a lot more and had more fun with it. WiiU obviously did have Breath of the Wild, but it doesn’t really feel like it’s WiiU’s game.

Wii U, because you can play most games in handheld mode on the gamepad. The Wii on the other hand had one of my least favourite controllers.

Wii overall as it had a clear goal and vision that it executed well while WiiU had some nice titles on it it didn't know what it's goal was at any point it's predecessor ultimately is the better console in most aspects.

Wii is my favorite console of all time. So it wins by far. Wii Sports was a great revelation. Skyward Sword is my favorite game of all time. The Galaxy games remain the best 3D platformers even after Odessey. The Prime Trilogy was so good on the Wii. Actually pulling off the kamehameha by making the same hand movements as the characters was a dream come true in the tenchaichi games. Even though there weren't many shooters, once Prime 3 hit they controlled really well, much better than analog controls. I still have more Wii games than I do for any other console, though the Switch may eventually surpass it.

I'm gonna say Wii, because GCN backwards compatibility feature encouraged me to buy few good Wii games.

Wii U for me. I love them both, but Wii got rid of the backwards compatibility with time, while the Wii U never removed it and even included original Wii downloads for easier accessibility.

The GameCube is probably my favorite console, but the library doesn't compare to Wii's, make it Wii U (Monster Hunter, Xenoblade, Bayonetta, Need For Speed, Tekken, Ninja Gaiden, Yoshi, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Splatoon, Child Of Light, Fatal Frame, Zombi U, etc) on top of Wii's massive library with updated online infrastructure/service, larger variety of Virtual Console systems, an online community, support for other applications, off-TV play, and much more, and there's no contest.

I'm going to say Wii U. Not only for its great exclusives, but also being the console that Nintendo started really embracing Indie games, which has continued stronger with the Switch. Also nobody seems to mention what an awesome Zelda machine Wii U is, it literally has all the console Zelda's, DS and GBA versions plus the HD remakes.

The Wii was revolutionary. It made me like Nintendo again after ignoring their home consoles after two generations. It had a better 2D Mario, and I like Mario Kart Wii better. It had a lot of fun third party games like Muramasa Demon Blade. It also had a lot of great motion control games: Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Excite Truck, Excite Bots, etc.... I had endless fun on the Wii.

The Wii U was just a huge disappointment as a whole, but it had a few good points. Hyrule Warriors, and Mario Maker are great games that actually take advantage of the gamepad. Also Smash Bros is better on Wii U. As a whole the console is a dud though.

Man!! Not even a contest to me. Wii wins hands down!!!
