Ne else fight Gustav for a gosh dang hour? Wasn't hard, just tedious :( also I'd much rather play each story one by one but I'd have to grind soo much. I seem to fall in and out of love with thia game each play session. It's no final fantasy, but it's still good.

Definitely a lot of grinding and the boss fights are ridiculously long. Still in love with this game though

I've been playing it. I like a lot about the game. The battle system is good, the story is (sometimes) good, the visuals are beautiful, the sound is amazing. But I'm not a huge fan of the structure. For a lack of a better analogy, its like I'm at a restaurant that is only serving me side dishes with no entree. The side dishes are tasty, but just not completely satisfying.

The 5000 Job Point Skills really help in killing the bosses off quicker. That, and you're expected to use Buffs/Debuffs intelligently. I am a bit saddened by how many healing and resurrection items there are though. Unless an enemy can kill me in two actions, I'm basically safe from party wipe. Just use my last standing character to apply a resurrection item and we're good to go again.

I think it took me about 45 minutes, but that was pretty ridiculous. I thinks it was the longest fight by far. Because Ophilia was one of the characters and I could heal everyone at the same time, I knew that I was going to win after beating his sidekicks, but the fight kept going on and on and on.... Although I guess I hadn't unlocked the last skill from my main character Olberic yet. In addition, the boss of round 2 of Tressa was very difficult. I could not win that one without playing with Ophilia, so I guess she is a little bit overpowerd ;)

I have now finished 4 of the 8 stories. The Stories could have been a bit better and certainly the endings are a bit disappointing. All in all still a great game, but it could have been a lot better..

Love using Ophelia's ability to make Cyrus cast a 4x boosted spell twice to a broken boss! So much damage!

It didn't help that I didn't find my 1st sub job till after that fight. I definitely didn't have the max abilities yet.
