Being a PS4 exclusive for 2 years, it should be more than just slightly ahead.

It was a wise choice porting it to Switch.

It's slightly below launch aligned in Japan. Though after the next holiday boost the PS4 version basically flatlines, so maybe there the Switch version can get past, as right now they move at the same speed

PS4 version also has strong digital sales worldwide. And I don't think either SKU legged out as much as VGchartz shows.

[PS4] Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance # <SLG> (Nippon Ichi Software) {2015.03.26} – 3.971

during the 22k month, so it had like 18% digital rate in Japan, and probably much higher in the west.

NS version is unknown or nonexistent

Well, this should give a pretty good indication of whether or not MHW is dead in Japan.

And if the PS4 can have any legs this summer, especially since its launching right before summer there.

Unknown, but certainly not nonexistent. Especially early on, when there wasn't much else to play on the Switch, I'm pretty sure it got a decent amount of downloads, most of them in the west. I can remember it showing up on most downloaded titles listings on the Switch some times.

Too late, that should have been ready at launch for the title

Also, monaural Headset? I thought those would only be used by callcenters and receptionists. First time I hear of such a thing for gaming.

Monoaural headsets have become more prevalent as voice chat has become more important in gaming. There are lots of people who prefer to have chat in one ear and game sounds in another.

Curious Noctis. The timing of this pack. There's also this:

Not trying to say anything with this perse, just that it is pretty interesting considering our conversation two weeks ago.

So MHW underperforming in the eyes of investors and/or analysts? Even though the PS4 version alone is the third bestselling in the series without even including digital?

I don't know, but that sounds even more illogical than the massive sale of Nintendo stock the last months
