Those reflections during gameplay. Launch games have no business looking this good.

That NPC is pretty cute.

Classic gooch

I wouldn't call myself a fan but I really enjoyed playing WD as one of my first PS4 games and I appreciated that they centered the story around just 1 main character. WD2 was good as well.

My problem with games like GTAV and WD Legion is that I'm not that immersed in a protagonist when I'm not able to stick with the same one through the whole campaign. Though I may try Legion at some point to see if the mechanics outweigh "the lack of narrative".

To be honest I've never played Watchdogs before and I have two of the games on PC haha. Yeah, I thought the same for the first WD game. He looks like such a generic and forgettable character but I'll give it a go at some point.

Legion has you playing a random NPC which is interesting to say the least. Not sure on the story but its set in London, which is very cool to me. Will have to ride around looking for landmarks in the game.

I actually replayed GTA 5 twice lol, quite enjoyed that one. Still hate Trevor though, for killing off Johnny.

He is indeed quite generic but I actually got really invested in the story

I'm not a big fan of open world games, even though I like some of them, but yes start of gen WD was fun and pretty so I enjoyed it, but didn't play the sequels.

Beware, PS Nation. This is my last day in quarantine so I got some time on my hands.

I know the pandemic probably forced Sony and Microsoft to change A LOT of their plans regarding next gen announcements. And with the recent reveal of PS5’s superb UI, cooling, PS4 BC and 2021 lineup, people got hyped in the end. But it’s funny to think about how much praise and hype Sony could’ve been building up from the start if they had held a PlayStation Meeting in February (just like they did in 2013) packed with all (or just some) of these announcements.

Specs: 10.2 teraflops, 5.5 GB/S ultra-fast SSD, Wi-Fi 6
Features: Full PS4 BC, improved cooling, 3D audio, raytracing
OS: Control center cards, Game Help, Picture-in-picture
DualSense: Haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, improved battery time
Deep dive: PS5’s ability to limit and in some cases eliminate loading times in both PS5 and PS4 games
Games: Astro's Playroom, Deathloop, Demon's Souls Remake, Destruction AllStars, Final Fantasy XVI, Ghostwire: Tokyo, God of War: Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, The Pathless, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Resident Evil Village, Returnal, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, etc.
Free PS4 to PS5 upgrades: (the 34 games listed above)

I think they were keeping hype on control level until they can really put major preorder stock. They can't even have available preorder consoles so more hype would just burn fast.

Good point.

They probably didn't want to reveal things such as secret OS features too soon either.

Compare MS putting 3 news per day versus Sony 1 new every 3 months and which have more hype. Hype comes more from the unknown than from the know.
