Hard to predict this one but I'll go with 1-1.5 million.

It won't match Bravely Default's sales in Japan due to declining RPG popularity as well as the pop-up book art style. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who finds this weird and immersion breaking.

Declining? If anything, the genre has found a renewed interest in it.XC 2, Persona 5, DQ XI all sold great in Japan.Thats my take anyway.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Depends on the price. Since its a retro style (granted its 2d retro on 3d world) it feels like an indie game that should be like $30. I'm totally down to buy this game for that kind of price. But no way I'm buying it anywhere close to $60. Does it have a price yet? If it's near $60 I say definitely under 1 million. If it's $30 I could see lifetime 1.5 - 2 million.

I really don't understand this line of thought. If the game has solid RPG mechanics (which the demo seems to suggest) and provides 20-30 hours (maybe more) of enjoyable gaming why can't it be priced $60?

Signature goes here!

Still no word from the "under 1 million" club. I would really like to hear their reasoning.

Between 2-3m, maybe even 3-4m if I want to be overly optimistic. It's an easier to sell game than Xenoblade 2 because it has a less 'divisive' art style, appeals to nostalgia fans, had an effective demo and has a battle system that is not nearly as visually intimidating as Xenoblade 2's was.

I'm gonna say 3 million. WoM seems really good, tons of hype leading into release and it looks like this game is even hooking in people that aren't big jrpg fans.

Already pre-bought it so atleast 1 copy :D

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

1.5 million copies if it turns out to be very good (and I hope it will be), otherwise 1 million copies.

hmm... i think somewhere around the 2 mio mark. I really hope this is doing well. Hope we get more RPGs if this sells well.

2.6M. I don’t genuinely think it will reach those numbers, but those are my hopes for the title. It’s a brand new concept and I could see it doing better than expected.

I felt Xenoblade had more hype and it's retail wise struggling to pass the million.

Secondly pre orders in Japan aren't that hot best case it reaches 100K (except if the next days it surprisingly climbs up in pre order numbers)
