Imagine if Scalebound had not been canceled. This is just shows , Xbox player want variety and more First Party IP.

Event decent games like Sea of Thieves are popular on Xbox One.

I imagine it would have sold less than Quantum Break & Sunset Overdrive and those are quality games. Your argument is strange because I think many first party IPs (add Halo Wars 2 to the list) haven't been as popular as they'd deserve to be.

To bad the press and and general public opinion say the other way.  Hell their competitor gain more market thanks to the exclusives.  Ups sorry, Sea of thieves proves my early statement.

Even if my opinion is wrong then , you are saying Xbox One doesn't need exclusivity, is like saying, "PC " is the best place to play games.

I hope that Game Pass at least means that they'll try to start funding more games.

Game pass + Great  First Party Exclusives  = PlayStation Killer.  If that happen Xbox will win my hearth. But for now it's a good step for Microsoft, We need more exclusives from Microsoft , hell we have been waiting since 2009.

It's a shame there is such pressure to release games early. This would have been better as a pre-Christmas launch with content driving large sales of xbox hardware. However for my own selfish interests probably a cheap s/hand copy about the same time downloading all the content will save me a few quid.

I doubt this claim holds, now, as it's been just 2 weeks and SoT is gone from the Top 100 on Amazon.

Well, I doubt it'll be a PlayStation killer, but more games is always good!

That would work if MS was actually coming out with a ton of 80+ first-party games. Or even 75+. Unfortunately, it seems they're lacking in the past year or so. Maybe next gen they'll kick things back into gear.

I think this shit is hilarious. I've just been replying to elaborate on earlier posts and offer rebuttals. Some resorted to ad hominem or saying that I bash ms games all the time. *sigh

7 is considered average in most 10 point review systems. A high 6 is still not a 7.  I'm not wrong on that. Even what you sourced said it's a mixed review score. *shrugs I'm gonna take your advice and stop replying since people are getting mad enough that ya guys are getting involved.

That's wrong. IGN and most other outlets have 7 as "good". A high 6 is basically a 7, just like how a low 7 is basically a 7. Jesus, did you fail grade 4 math or something?

Also "mixed" is average.

Kid comes home from school with 4th grade math test in hand.

Son:  "Hey, dad, I got a D+ on my math test!"

Dad:  "A D+?  Well, that's basically a C, so congrats.  Let's go out for ice cream."

He doesn't get sprinkles though.  Sprinkles are for winners.

are you fucking kidding me? So you would call 6.9 a 6 instead of a 7 like that guy did.....

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Yeah, I actually would.  For the same reason I wouldn't consider a D+ a C, as illustrated.

Bare in mind, that I'm not hating or throwing shade at Sea of Thieves.  I have an Xbox One, but online focused games aren't my thing, so this doesn't interest me either way.  I just don't think it's that hard to comprehend why someone wouldn't consider something a "7" until a 7 actually appears in the number.

If there are more bad scores below 7 pulling it below an actual "7" than there are good scores to pull it above an actual "7", than yeah, it's not a "7".
