From the bit I played last night and I'm thinking this will get somewhere between a 65 and 75.

Bandorr said: So are they actually ever going to be reviews? Are the servers having so many problems that people can't even review it? Open critics has a few but not many. At this rate I'm willing to guess 0. Because I don't think 4 people(on one system) will actually review this game for the score to be aggregated. |
I havent had any issues playing or getting in the servers, it would have been pointless to review this game before servers were live as the entire point is to play with others. See how other crews react and adapt. I rather the revewers take their time and actually experience the game, can see some early reviewers clearly not spending as much time as they should have done, giving an incorrect impression.
Can i change my prediction? Cause i don't think this game wiill be a 8.0 anymore.
I would like to bet in 7.5, instead of a 8.0.
Since full reviews will take a while. What are the impressions the are having so far?
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Cheat Code Central gave it an 82.
Sea of Thieves plots a course in the opposite direction of most big budget, predictable affairs. Loot is not about gaining power, and the thrill is in the voyage, not the destination. This may alienate some gamers, but it is a breath of fresh air for those willing to embrace the change. However, Rare will soon find the community clamoring for more content and improved social options to keep players invested and using their freedom to create limitless and fascinating stories.

Tagging the old fashioned way.
- "If you have the heart of a true winner, you can always get more pissed off than some other asshole."
Second Review by CGMagazine gave it a 55.
Sea of Thieves feels like a game that should be offered for $10–$20 tops as an early access or game preview product. There just isn't enough content or depth here, its core gameplay is grinding repetitive fetch quests and not a whole lot else, the progression here just isn't fulfilling, and fun factor depends on who you're playing with.

OT: Not shocked at all at the bad reviews. Game looks like some cheap free to play for streamers. L
