Not really. NMS was quite the scandal...

What do you do in Sea Of Thieves? (Come on, I had dozens of NMS threads ruined. I'm sure I'm allowed one joke). Don't get me riled up though! I'll start posting reviews (Ok, that's two).
Some liked it though. Perhaps it's just one of those games you either like or dislike.
The PS5 Exists.

Not at all. Rare never lied about what's in the game like the NMS devs and SoT has a good amount of content it's just that it can get repetitive.
jason1637 said: Second Review by CGMagazine gave it a 55. Sea of Thieves feels like a game that should be offered for $10–$20 tops as an early access or game preview product. There just isn't enough content or depth here, its core gameplay is grinding repetitive fetch quests and not a whole lot else, the progression here just isn't fulfilling, and fun factor depends on who you're playing with. Exactly the quote I was coming to share.
From what little I played in the betas, this was exactly what I expected, and exactly how I felt. A shame, too, since I absolutely loves me some pirate booty!

I expect that to be the common criticism. These kind of games look baren in content. There's only much you can enjoy wandering around aimlessly doing fetch quest. even with friends.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Forbes agree's:
"Sea of Thieves having No Man’s Sky’s strengths and weaknesses were warranted."
"The problem is that Sea of Thieves is not a complete game. It just isn’t. It’s maybe 5 or 10% of one, but given what other open world/co-op games can offer you for $60, it’s just astonishing how little Sea of Thieves offers. The issues? Where to start.
That’s it. I can’t even make more than five bullet points because that’s almost the entire game right there."

The guy hasn't beat the game yet.

Those grievances he mentioned seem to have nothing to do with the end of the game.

Forbes reviewer(s) probably not.
Attackofthefanboy reviewer:
"One day in with Sea of Thieves and we're feeling like we've seen most of what the game has to offer."
Theres apparently a thread dedicated to lack of content for Sea of theives & people complaining about it, and it's basically just launched.

The first and fourth do. According to Rare you receive different type of exclusive quests for Pirate Legends so if you haven't beat the game you haven't played the pirate legend quest. And Pirate Legend is tied with the progression system since it's the highest tittle in the game. So by not beating the game you haven't seen all of what the games progression system has to offer.
