It was coincidental, as there has been a massive push for women's of late.

Thank you. I'll be curious to see how many people there go to movies if this becomes normal in Saudi Arabia.

It's a huge deal, and there have also been a series of hijab protests.

Weekend estimates are in and Black Panther made $4.64M. This brings the DBO to $681.1M. WW is now $1.324B. It is just $8.73M away from becoming #9 for all time WW BO.

BP is currently outperforming Avengers by 11.4%. If this continues, BP will finish its DBO run with $694.4M. If the 48.6% that the FBO represents holds, it will finish its WW run with $1.351B.

Considering the money this film made I can't believe infinity war played it like it did.

If you haven't seen that yet just go full offline mode until you do, the Spoilers are huge and incoming soon as more people come from midnight shows

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Dude, seriously, shut your gob and keep spoiler talk to your thread. This is far too obvious a hint towards the spoilers.

Love the movies sound track.

King takes Knight: Black Panther is officially the biggest Domestic Box Office solo superhero movie, adjusted for ticket inflation.

Hail to the King

It looks like BP may get a boost from IW, as Fri estimates have it higher than last Fri. So, it may either be slightly above last weekend or flat. I really think this film will make it to $700M at the DBO.

Estimates are in. BP made $4.38M, bringing its DBO total to $688M. It's WW total is now $1.331B. It only has to make $1.5M to take #9 on the all time WW list.

With FBO numbers in, BP has passed TLJ by $1.3M to become #9 on the list of all time WW takes.

Where will it end? Currently it is ~12.2% above Avengers. If this continues, it will end its DBO run with $699.41M. If the FBO percentage stays at 48.4%, its final WW take will be $1.355B. Personally, I think it may just leg it out to a DBO take of $700M+.
