I'd consider the current stick as 'barely in stock' despite nintys efforts to make more switches.
I do not see a price drop unless they literally can get 5 million switches on stores on the day pokemob realeses.

@Bold Strawman, I never argued about Switch slowing down ... The fact that the Switch is available at MSRP means that there is no "supply issues" and that applies for any service/product as well. Can't have it both ways but I guess we'll also see soon enough if the Switch really is slowing down since you mentioned it ... "Real" surplus, LOL there either is a surplus or there isn't and the only thing that matters is current price. Not whether if a few retailers have supplies issues or not according to Kimishima ... |
Actually Switch is again sold out on Amazon, and thats why Switch price is curently around 40.000 yeninstead of official price point of around 30.000 yen.
Fact is that Switch still has some stock problems even situation is improved compared to last months.

Huh, that's strange since both sites show Switch available when I clicked on it and with a 1% cut (for gray model) in reference price too ...
This site also represents that the Switch is available too at amazon when I clicked the both of the above link ...

But thats a point, thats not official price for Switch in Japan, official price for Switch is around ¥30.000 not ¥39,800 and ¥41,000, so you dont have curently Switch official price point on Amazon.

Give both of your posts have been made in the last 2 hours, and one clearly has it "in stock" on both sites, i'll align with him. For me the Switch is also available in both editions on Japanese amazon, showing prices of 32/33k yen respectively. The 40k you're talking about i haven't seen since before holiday seasons. (but i check too irregularly, so it might've been at that at one point again)

No, the official price for the Switch is around ~32000 yen and both SKUs are available at that price point on Amazon ...
You're obviously not looking at the site right ... (the Switch is in stock at MSRP in Japan, end of story)

Official price was around 30.000 yen, I remember we had 29990 yen price point on Amazon.
I dont look at site right? I guess I made up this two links. :D
It's strange that I can't find those two offers that you posted when I try in Japan Amazon.

I am including tax in that comparison which turns out that the Switch's reference price is around ~32000 yen ...
And yes you aren't looking at the site right considering that they are offering Switch's for that price point plus this stock tracker also says that the Switch is in stock for that price point too so something must be wrong on your end and not mine ...
Switch is not selling for above MSRP therefore it has no stock issues, case closed ...

30.000 price on Amazon was full price point.
I couldn't find those lower price points that you posted, but fact is that they exist.
But fact is that Switch still has some stock issues, we have reports that Switch still dont have normal availability, that Switch is still getting sold out in many stores.

Actually Amazon's "official price" point was ~32000 yen and Switch availability is fine ...
