Forums - Gaming Discussion - If you like Dark Souls and are a multiconsole owner with a Switch, portability or 60fps?

Own a Xbox One S / Switch and I will be buying it on the switch. I made the mistake of getting Skyrim on xbox and regret not getting it on the switch. I find portability of much more value for these big 50+ hour games then upgraded specs.

Actually nothing isn't wrong in my post, like I wrote, price point of gaming hardware dont have nothing with price point of games. You do realise now you talking about format games that effects price point of some games, not about performance and visuals of games that would need to effect games price point that was your point all the time!? So now you basically changing your goal post. :D

Yeah, cartridges in case of Switch cost more than blu rays and that's why we have few games that are more expensive for Switch compared to PS4/XB1, but that again dont change nothing, AAA Switch games are exactly $60 same like on PS4/XB1 or any other past home console, Fifa, NBA, Skyrim, Doom...they all have launch price on Switch same like they had on PS4/XB1, so even without cartridges prices of games for Switch wouldnt be cheaper compared to PS4/XB1 game price point.

I never changed the goal post, I just added more info.

Persona 5 is cheaper on PS3.. err wait, do I have to list all the games that cost different based on their performance all over again??

I quit. you win. I'm outa here folks!

Yes you did, you basicly said "if you buy it for switch you're paying full price for lower performance compared to the others. IJS, it should probably be cheaper.", that doesn't have anything with point that Switch is using cards (flash memory) instead of discs.

I already wrote to you that some time cross gen games can have lower price point on last gen hardware compared to current gen consoles, especially in this case where PS3 is dead on market and its expected that Persona 5 on PS3 will have much lower sales compared to same game on PS4, so devs lowered price point on PS3 in order to push sales more on PS3 to have better sales compared to full AAA price point on PS3. If Persona 5 was released in around 2013. only like PS3 game offcourse it would have full price point of AAA game. And hows that has anything with Switch, Switch is current gen console not last gen.

You said that around 5 times until now. :D

Switch... I like the point about 1080p30 Bloodborne. 60 fps is appealing / portability is king. 4K means little to me.

If I didn't play it already on a previous console. Id buy it on Switch. Also, I'm still buying it again on Switch.

As far as i am concerned there are only 2 platforms here. Switch or PC. Why anyone would get this for the consoles is beyond me, unless its really really cheap.

@ the guy that said remote play... just stop its freaking terrible, it will never be as good as steam link, which is also terrible.

yes because the world revolve around your bad taste in gaming!

OT : 60fps >>>>>>>> everything else. Sick of 30fps

If all you care about is 60 fps then PC is the only version of any game you should ever play just saying.

You're talking as if other platforms don't have 60fps games.

I played DS last gen and I still consider it to be one of the brightest points of it, if I o play it again it will be completely handheld, if it was to be my first, I will still choose Switch over anything else cos I can play it both ways

1 out of 10 games (and thats generous) vs every game for the platform. So yeah.
