It will be so easy to make new versions of Labo. I think it will be very big for 2 years and then people will move on. But still, i see it being a great success overall and it will, imo, bring lots of new consumers to buy a Switch. Especially during Christmas time by the time parents find out its a thing.

Yep! And by Christmas, we would have gotten lots of advertisements/exposure of Labo, sales and discounts, other versions

Pocky Lover Boy!

At the moment, Nintendo's strategy is absolutely spot on. They're playing to their core audience with well polished nostalgia, have created a console (thank God) that is easy to port to (I told a friend it's what they needed to do, and they have), and they're pushing hard with innovation and imagination to the younger demographic. It's faultless, a masterful demonstration of Nintendo of old.

With Sony's strongest exclusive software to come, it's going to be a two horse race and it suits me just fine when it's between the two companies that made this industry what it is today.

Yes and the possibilities are almost endless. If there is a success, i can see them doing a Mario pack or a Zelda pack which would get the kids to try new franchise. They could also add free updates and you just have to pay for a cheap pack of cardboard... anyway i think this will be a new big thing from Nintendo. Just hope it will not die as fast as the balance board.

...is this the power of Labo?

Damn still able to sell out on a random week like that after almost a year is insane. Demand is still higher than what Nintendo expected. Their projections for FY2018 will probably be higher than 20 millions than.

So, Labo is a system seller as well or what?

BotW, odessey and now labo.

Killer apps. Might be too early to say that about labo but early signs are good.
