I play Pro Evolution Soccer with serious passion. I am pretty good as well. I have only disconnected once and that was because I needed to attend my daughter. I was ahead at the time, 2-0 with around 15 minutes on the game clock.

Maybe we have met in a random match. I think it sucks people quit on you.

In the 360 Online, I have resisted to quit games, because its very unfair how this online is bad, a lot of bugs, the ball appears and dissapears, A lot of Lag, I dont know how Konami released this game..

My other complain is lag. Having 6 mbits/s ensures me that i have a steady ping but most of the people i play with keep lagging..

Latency and bandwidth are different issues. Plus, most gamers seem to stick with wireless for online gaming with the Wii, which is a remarkably bad idea especially if you live near other people. Wireless access points have only three channels that do not interfere with each other (1, 6 and 11) and the interference range is almost twice the demodulation range -- so you likely have more than twice as many wireless access points generating interference than you can see when browsing for wireless access points.

Plus, the frequency range is shared by cordless phones, microwaves, flourescent bulbs, bluetooth headsets, Wiimotes, PS3/Xbox 360 controllers, etc. It is so over saturated that it is a terrible choice for gaming.

Isn't wireless your only option with the Wii? Or do I need to go back and check the owner's manual?

The Nintendo wired adaptors are about $20 and available at Target last I checked.  I'd definitely recommend one if you want to do online gaming.  The biggest issue is that other people may also have saturated wireless spectrums and may still be using wireless.

Wireless sucks for online gaming, unfortunately.

That and the thing that i somehow get the feeling that there aren't too many good PES players ON THE WII ?

I m not trolling but I believe hardcore fans of PES still prefer the classic control over the new Wii special control. It is not about they are good or bad. It is just that they are used to use them.

Remember PES08 was released VERY recently on Wii despite being 6 months old on PS3/PS2/Xbox360. So many hardcore PES fans dont just have tried the Wii version.

^ When i said good, imeant people being adapt at playing the game with wii controls. The thing that does bother me is that after a couple of matches i knew how to move my team the way i would want a team to move in real life, leading me to a scoring opportunity. With the 15 people i've played online only two of them showed this kind of field thinking. Not that i want to bad word the other PES versions, but apart from physics, that game didn't resemble live football very much at all (nor did the FIFA series for that matter). You could use one damn move in any of the PS2 versions that would bring you a goal on a 90% basis.

With the Wii it's not as simple as the AI has the ability to mark your man or not. Chances vary. Even more so when you're up against someone who actually knows something about football tactics and can implement them into the game.
