Look at the main artwork where all girls are essentially wearing hotpant length skirts where you can see their underwear. Although the dev is obviously being careful not to cross any obvious boundaries its clear the game is made from an objectification and fetishistic gaze. If you replace those anime drawing with real 12 year olds, none of you would be question Valve's distancing themselves & their store from this.

Some of the scenes in the VN's trailer also give off a kind of creepy vibe with how some of the characters positioned themselves. 

I can see why they had to take action on the VN, but they could have given a better reason.

At first Valve was a healthy tissue producing half life and counter strike but then they started becoming a tumor when their digital retail platform known as steam started to mature. I honestly thought and hoped that Valve would recover themselves from being a tumor but now I see that they've full blown progressed into cancer and metastasized too at this point infecting the shit out of the rest of the PC ecosystem by abusing their fucking monopoly on digital retail PC gaming and not giving back to the PC community either by producing high end games ...

Yeah, people bitch a lot about EA having to answer to shareholders but at least they have public interests in mind when only one asshole such as Gabe Newell is running the entire shit show known as Valve can do whatever he wants ...

As much as I disagree with OP about his topics regarding PC gaming, at least Blizzard can actually get some credit for contributing to PC gaming by releasing new high quality content on PC such as Overwatch once in a while ... (Valve is just another sour Microsoft clone)
