PUBG is this year most anticipated game on Xbox console and run much better on Xbox one X. Providing a superior experience for gamers upgrading to the Xbox one X.

I think Microsoft should double down and actually make this game a permanent bundle to the Xbox one X.

With locked 30fps and dipping into 21, some textures that look like Goldeneye on the n64, and buildings taking a long time to load even when you are on the ground? Is that what you call a superior experience for gamers?

Still the best console version!

Personally, even if the game was a solid 30 fps with pop in improved, I'm not sure why people like this game so much. So whatever, bundle it and ride the hype I guess. But a permanent bundle? Maybe if it has unusually great legs like Minecraft.

This game may need a ton of work still but playing with a squad of 4 is so damn fun.

Some games make success that we didn't expect

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Yeah, a $30 beta game that has microtransactions and has horrible performance was nominated for GOTY.

LOL Care to explain why sounds like a bad thing? Microtransactions does not prevent a game from being good or bad...

The performance tho...

They're cosmetic and don't have any effect on gameplay. They may have sold 25 million copies but they're still indie. Also, when the preview is over, expect it to be $60. Which it simply isn't worth imo. I grabbed it now pretty much just for that reason and I'm having tonnes of fun.

I can't agree with that.

Do you remember the good old days where you would unlock things in a game by... You know, hitting certain goals, finding certain secrets? Yeah. That's what Microtransaction have taken away, are games better for it? No they aren't.

Cosmetics or not, microtransactions have taken away what could have been potential gameplay.

It's a beta game. Why the fuck would a company put out an unfinished product on the market, charge $30 for it, and have microtransactions in it. With all of the money that they got from this game, it's guaranteed that western studios will follow this like the loot box fiasco. Also, being indie should not be a shield for criticism. Especially when there are no indies that do this shit.

Yeah, you're right. 25 million people didn't buy the game because it's fun. I mean, who does that? Seriously!

Follow the loot box fiasco? Is this your first time on the internet this year?

When did I ever say that this game is a huge flop? I already said that this game has made a shit ton of money. Most of the reviews on steam, however, are extremely mixed. http://store.steampowered.com/app/578080/PLAYERUNKNOWNS_BATTLEGROUNDS/. Doesn't matter how popular the game is. It doesn't excuse the amount of anti-consumer practices in this game.

Also, I have been on this site since January, I know how shitty EA is.
