Looking across the charts playstation is starting to assert itself again on amazon. I believe they'd be even more dominant at brick and mortar too as amazon the last few weeks was very biased towards Nintendo as npd showed us.

honestly his assessment  sounds useless to me, when at the end of November he said switch could still win, if his data can't be certain   that ps4 would win november when it outsold switch by more then 850k, then his data is useless. shockingly he is certain switch will win december, and i bet it won't. to me it seems he uses online data.

IIRC, Benji said that the Switch had a good lead leading up to Black Friday, but didn't say that the Switch won the whole month. After the BF weekend, he said that the PS4 sold insane numbers and bet on the PS4 winning overall according to his numbers.

We'll see when details of December NPD leak. I'm willing to put my trust on his (and Abdiel's) assessment.

He  said PS4 and xbox had great black Fridays weekends, and would probably beat switch, then in his next post, he says he's not sure because switch was selling great, and it could end up winning. basically covering all the angles.

Because like xb1 it shares a hell of a lot more similarities with the ps4 then the switch.

You realize that shipment numbers come out at the end of January, not December, right?

For the company as a whole yes but Sony has been known to release PS4 shipment numbers at CES which is January 9th this year.

I was just pointing out a factor in the discussion that certain users often conveniently leave out when comparing the two.
