Minecraft for New 3ds must have sold very well, i'm glad that it was released for (new) 3ds, it was the only 8th gen console without it, better late than never!
I wonder if it have persuaded some old 3ds owners to finally upgrade.
Now they can acquire, essentially a new 3ds xl for 50$ less.
As for Pokemon US/UM, it has really exceeded the expectations of many people, notably reseterians...
I wish Nintendo had released this year 3ds low profile games at 29$ but they have the effrontery to price them like previous years 3ds games ( or as major 3ds games this year )

Hey pikmin skyrocketed to 60th place when its price was slashed to 25$ and fell of a cliff once its priced returned to 39$.
Minecraft New 3ds exclusive 29$ was in top 30 in November and sold out.

Mario + Rabbids, I'm sure that's higher, but I don't really count that one as 3rd party because it's a crossover with Mario. And unless you count smartphones/mobile, the only dedicated gaming system that the Face of Nintendo himself can appear on is, you guessed it, a Nintendo system.

Don't think online sales for the week before Christmas will be as representative as the first three weeks due to the need to ensure gifts are under the tree. Brick and mortar will dominate this period. Think X1 sales will be surprising if you base your estimates only on Amazon.
