I can't wait for Nintendo to fix the stock issues in Japan because these sales are just too low right now. The less said about the other consoles the better (in Japan anyway).

Nintendo has 80% of the market in Japan. We should at least see decent third party support for Switch from Japanese devs in the coming years.

I hope there's more support outside of what we know already. Its userbase is growing in Japan so Japanese devs should be more on it with the support. As Square said, mid-range games can potentially do well on the Switch and even more AAA Japanese games can potentially be ported onto the Switch or be developed as exclusives (like SMT V) or on par with the PS4 (not necessarily graphics or performance mind you).

dominence in japan pretty much means japanese 3rd party support from year 3 onwards is a lock at this point. they would be stupid not to port things. especially since portable versions usually sell much more. I mean look at persona 3 and 4 vs thier portable counterparts- no contest. all they need to do is target 720p docked 540p undocked 1080p ps4 and we're good to go with one version of the game for multiplat, really.
