More like this probably.
I've had mine since launch, so it doesn't affect me. In my case, I'm still hoping that we at least get digital Black Friday deals on eShop titles and I'll be bummed if we don't.
But as far as the Switch itself goes, they're going to sell as much as they ship regardless, so I can understand why they're not doing a Black Friday sale yet.
Demand is already sky high, it wouldn't make much sense to slash the price and leave money on the table when there's a lot more to gain from leaving it alone.

It's a shame as I'm looking to finally pick up a switch soon. Will have to wait till next year now. You can hardly blame Nintendo for not discounting it though. If it's selling like mad why reduce the cost?
Nothing to live for but I like it that way.
Meh. It’s too early on and the device is selling well enough that there’s not really a need for holiday price cuts. Next year, definitely.

I wouldn’t go that far. Switch is going to sell very well, no doubt, but every unit is a bit of a stretch. The device has been readily available at most retailers for months now. It’s passed it’s sold out days, and logically Nintendo is going to be putting out far more stock over the holidays than they did the rest of the year. I agree, no need for a price drop, but every unit sold? Very doubtful, unless Nintendo intentionally goes back to artificial demand.
The reaction? The Switch is going to sell just as good without them, so I don't see a negative reaction coming.

Thread shoulda ended here,
But there are some pretty good deals on software.
Last edited by Ljink96 - on 19 November 2017Anyone expecting deals for it were kinda crazy... even PS4 that had about 1 year in the market when got it BF and already had steady supply didn't get any significant deal for that BF.
Why would Switch even be considered for a BF deal?

Exactly. I HIGHLY doubt Nintendo will have problems selling Switches at regular price.
Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21
