Persona 5 didn’t win best aufio?

The winners are fine except for best audio, Zelda doesn't deserve it.

Mario receives that ultimate GOTY 2018.

He’s not saying it isn’t good.

But better than Persona 5?  Hell no!

That was the point.

But yeah, there are other games this year that I would pick for better audio before Zelda.

No problem. In fact I agree with you. 

There are some tunes I remember and they were good.

But with the exception of the main theme and Final Boss theme, it’s not what I’d consider “Beay of the Year” material.

I have played a number of games from this year and there’s no doubt in my mind which one was the best audio: Persona 5! Damn, I love that soundtrack so much!

Cuphead for best visual design. Any other title and I would have been upset.

Audio? Soundtrack? You name it.

I played both games back to back when they came out in  March and April.

Zelda was really good in that department, not saying it wasn’t. 

But Persona just blew it out of the water. And I never played a Persona game before this one, while Zelda is my favorite franchise and was looking forward to Breath of the Wild for years. So, I could have easily been bias and given it to Zelda. But, for me, Persona 5’s sound, audio, soundtrack was that good. 

The entire soundtrack is actually available on iTunes. Some tracks are on YouTube as well, but I always like to support the creators and artists whenever I can. Just how I roll. :)

I didn't say it's not good, I don't mind how minimalist it is but I definitely believe more could have been done, it's overall quite lazy. A lot of other games deserve this award.
