Quick question: I keep seeing these insanely sexy character models in my Xbox One Awesome Screenshot Club. Are these created with mods or can they be created in the normal version? I'm going to get the Switch version (though I shouldn't with Xenoblade coming so soon...) and I want to create a hot Avatar!

Mods, default char editor gives you at best, potatoes, Bethesda game though so to be expected.

Actually its closer to the lastgen versions, this is what John from DF had to say. its still a great port IMO.

"Skyrim turned out great, I agree, but it's ultimately just a remaster of a last gen game. The Switch version loses some of the biggest changes too (namely, volumetrics and distant foliage) but still looks great.

Doom suffered a lot more with massive cutbacks and less than half the frame-rate. What concerns me there is that Doom was a 1080p60 game on a standard PS4. What if you have a 1080p30 game that pushes the system even harder? I can't imagine that we'd see something like Assassin's Creed Origins running on Switch - I just don't think it would be possible."

I'm a little surprised that it's 900p locked while docked. They did a nice job with this port, and it's a port of the remaster rather than the original.

I already ordered it, haven't played that game in a few years.

He didn't wrote that's game closer to the last gen versions of game.

Basically they said on start of video that this is remastered special edition of game. Not to mention that game runs at 900p and almost locked 30 FPS, while last gen version run at 720p and terrible frame rate.

Its good that this is pretty much a middle of the Original and the Special "Enhanced" Edition. Not just a strict Original port of the game with the DLC's.

I'm debating about this game...mostly because I never got into the game on PC and mods are a huge part of this game for me. Building your own homes, enhanced models, etc.

its much better then the last gen versions, just seems more like a upgraded lastgen version to me based on the DF video, since it's missing most of the things that made the special edition special in the first place, it's one ugly dated looking game regardless, but a very good port, considering the hardware.

Honestly Bethesda is doing a great job on Switch, they bring good ports of quality games to the system. 900p and a rock solid framerate for the special edition of Skyrim is everything one could hope for. Good stuff.

I don't think that there was ever any real doubt that they'd use a scaled back Special Edition rather than mess around with the old version. The improvements of the SE go right down to the core of the engine, there should be no reason to go back.

It's still going to be the worst version, though. Mods can take this from a good game to a fantastic game tailored to your specific tastes. They should at least push for what the PS4 settled on.

Nice, if I didn't have a PS4 I'd probably end up getting this version.
