Yeah and both DS and 3DS had 1.5m+ December. I even think the DS went close to 2 million once. Switch should get to the 1million but maybe needs another big release to get close to 1.5m+

I thinks it's safe to say that Switch will be pass 3m in Japan at end of this year.

Easily. It's question by how much not if. I think it has a shot at 4 million tbh. Most likely 3.5-3.8 million

I will go with around 3.5m.

Orochi Warriors U3, Samurai Warriors Sanada & Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires were released on Switch on that week but all 3 failed to chart in MC. We shall see their dismal sales in famitsu or Dengeki.

3rd parties ignoring switch would be unfortunate. I brought up some titles that did better on Switch than the other platforms not long ago as far as Amazon is concerned.

ryuzaki, perhaps you've forgotten?

Amazon rankings has no relevance when we have actual sales data from MC. Why would the sales on US Amazon have anything to do with Japanese sales?

You still can't just buy it like that either. They still have "lotteries" at stores that you have to enter for a chance to win the opportunity to buy a Switch. I was just finally able to get my hands on one from a lottery at a local chain store. Picked up the Red/Blue version along with SMO.

So is Gran Turismo not selling well? I was surprised when I went into that same local store chain I mentioned above and they had both the regular version and the limited edition version at about 40% off the retail price. Usually stores will discount stuff like 10% or so at release, but heavy discounts already? Didn't it just release last month? Quickly checked the Amazon JP price and the regular version was at almost 50% off.

There's a lot of difference between the three outlets. Do they have all the same parameters? Do they all included bundles? Digital?

Signature goes here!

I still wonder why they released 3 Masuo in the same day. That is like Nintendo releasing a port to Wind Waker, Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess all in the same day.

Also Switch sales are nice. I heard it was still sold out everywhere.

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems!

As far as I know. Famitsu includes Digital cards that is bought on the store.

And don't quote me on this but I think the 3 of them use different samples to estimate sales.
I am not really sure better asked the Japanese residence that post here.
