   Splatoon 2 is the highest selling Switch game this quarter with 3.61M 
   
   More importantly it has an insane attach rate in Japan with possibly 15-20% digital share:
   
   End of September Splatoon 2 and Switch numbers in Japan from Media Create ending in 10/1/17:
   
   Splatoon 2 – 1,19M
   Switch - 1.78M
   
   Shipped + Digital for period ending in 10/1/17:
   Splatoon 2 - 1.56M
   Difference - 370K
   
   Even if there were 170K copies shipped to retailers that were not sold to consumers, it would still mean that Splatoon 2 would have sold around 200K copies digitally. This in turn means that Splatoon 2 attach rate in Japan would be 77%, best attach rate for a game on a console during it's first year in Japan since SSB Melee.

Holy shit.We knew that Splatoon was a monster, but thats in a whole another level!(Godzilla level!).And I mean, we are going for the holidays now!Its really not out of the question for it to surpass 2 millions this year.

Nah in japan it actually seems like its best to keep ac for year 2 and pokemon for year 3. Nintendo released a new loz and 3d mario (with mk even if a port). Its all good

I was referring to the incredible performance of Splatoon 2 in Japan, to possibly have a 77% attach rate, the only other franchises that I think would be capable of the that (besides Zelda of course with 100+%) would be AC and Pokemon, since those are the 2 top dogs in Japan. It was meant as a huge compliment to Splatoon. :p
