How about updating all the scripts to the latest jquery so you can stop using the ancient one and start adding fixes for mobile, like the swipe in buddy tach was working on.

If you already updated jquery without addressing the scripts that depended on now defunct older jquery features, that will be what broke game adding.

Or just mobile improvements in general. (a good start would be removing the ads)

How about accepting fixes (no matter how small they may appear) for what they are, and be happy somebody is doing something?

I've heard the call to 'mobile' (and yes, I've attempted to use the website on my phone, too). I've also heard the call to the GameDB (which is very high on my list). But how many things do you think I can fix, while working a full time job and raising a family?!?!?

Talon, I hope you don't take it too close to heart, there are many people here (including me!) that are very appreciative of your work!

Pipe down I was making suggestions, and offering assistance to why the game DB may have broken, you don't have to get all defensive

You should get a grip. Talon's been here for only a few days and is probably overwhelmed by all there is to fix.

Your suggestions were poorly worded and you came off as agressive. ''How about'' was kind of rude.

Patience is a virtue.

Don't be so rude to someone taking time out of his own life to help out on a website that's been left to rot for so long.

There are two site admins in the thread,  the use of how about was to make it a general suggestion rather than direct it to a specific person.

Okay, but we should give them some space.

At least, they report on what they are doing.

The only thing I wish on their part is to keep being transparent as much as possible so we're not kept in the shadows.

If that's how it came across to them I apologize, but my point about jquery still stands, if it's been updates thats what broke game dB.

I say that because someone much smarter than I am with web dev, and someone that used to be a site admin has told me "God help them the codebase was such a hack job mess im surprised it still works and that nobodies dumped the db through the XSS vulnerabilities yet"

That is literally Chinese to me xd

I think you should just exit this thread and go about your day. Things won't end well for you, if you persist.

And resorting to outright threats over this is a valid response to the matter is it?
