Just a simple question. According to VGC (as of 19th August 2017), the PS4 leads by 2.5 million units and probably sits at around 3 million right now. Is it possible for the XB1 to catch the PS4 in the US?
The PS5 Exists.

Well, 1 person has said yes and another has said maybe, so that question is best addressed to them. Don't forget this includes X1X too which is just a better model of the XB1, as the Pro is just a better model of the PS4. I've hit 'NO' just for clarification.

I brought this up in another thread and was hammered, ridiculed, and was called "Drill" ( I don't know what that is). Good luck with this. I don't even own an Xbox One yet and was treated as a fan boy of this system.

Bandorr said: "Can" is an interesting word. They "could" in theory. That would require going against practices they've shown for the last 4 years though. Specially hard now that every game is also coming to the PC. When you are behind in console sales, giving people reasons to NOT buy your console will not help you catch up. |
How?
I mean remotely within the realms of reality?
They're behind by a huge gap. They're selling less each week. They're competing with a break away success that isn't slowing down.
The Xbox division has shown nothing in the nearby future that could create any sort of momentum that will propel the Xbox One's sales passed the PlayStation 4.
The Xbox One X will give the Xbox One a temporary boost, however, due to the lack of any exclusive content, there will be nothing to maintain that initial boost in sales. The Xbox One X sales will be incredibly front loaded. It will quickly even out to the same overall sales we are seeing for the console, albeit with the potential for an even bigger drop off sometime in the near future.

You just don't know when to give it up do you, Drill!?!
As long as that requires people buying more Xbox than PS4 I'd say no.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
Of course not. It has a healthy deficit, and no momentum.
Bet with PeH:
I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

d21, what the heck? With exclusives is the only way this can happen.
