20 in 20 years.

If I had to wait an average of one year in between each piece of candy I'd have Gollum levels of withdrawal.

You were saying, Fury?  Cause looking at this they gave one in 2011, zero in 2012, two in 2013, one in 2014, one in 2015, zero in 2016, and so far two in 2017.  Do enlighten us as to when this famously reliable and tough reviewer went soft and started handing out these 10s with such abandon.

It's amazing how Edge's reputation as a hardass was virtually unchallenged...before Breath of the Wild got a 10.

5 in their first 14 years. 15 in the last 10. My point still stands.

Like candy, I tells ya.

Wouldn't that be because EDGE believes the quality of games are getting better?

Is NeoGaf just way bigger than VGChartz, or are they that hyped for Odyssey?

I imagine the early review "leak" is due to it being a physical magazine and thus has to print it fors hipment and thus why people can see it before the "embargo" lift

EDGE has been Nintendo UK's go-to magazine for exclusive reviews/previews/interviews ever since the Official Nintendo Magazine UK closed. EDGE was meant to have the first review, it's not a leak. Same happened with Zelda.

My pointi still remains. It is on a physical magazine. Just look at Japanese manga. Most popular series are scanned online like 5 whole days before the magazine even hits stores where you can buy it.

Whether Edge is supposed to be first or not, I don't imagine its official release is today.

Afaik, the original leak came from a subscriber of the physical magazine. I believe subscribers get the magazine a few days early. I know it wasn't available yesterday. I went to 7 shops trying to buy a copy!

I might share a similar opinion than you. I mean, the game looks excelent for those who like these type of Mario games. And I don't complain much about it because people were asking for this for years. But... tbh, I'm not the biggest fan of Mario platformer games with such a big scale. I prefer level-based, linear Mario platformer games usually. Hopefully this game proves me wrong, but I don't see it yet.

Does the health system also annoy you? I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't like how they dropped Mario's health being dependent on power-ups and instead went with a generic health bar.

Nah, that really doesn't bother me a lot. I mean, I still prefer the power-up system, for sure. But I doesn't think it's a big deal in the end. It depends on game's difficulty and if health is balanced enough. I think that this game being more exploration based might be on the easy side, but let's see. I hope that there's some challenging platforming in the game.

If there are that many moons, I'm guessing there are several kingdoms they haven't revealed in any of the promo. I'd be surprised if any of the kingdoms had much more than 50 moons. If there are around 850 moons, then I would guess there are probably 15-20 kingdoms. We know of 11 I believe.
