Giving Yoko Taro more money?! The mad men!

Great news. I'm definitely looking forward to whatever Yoko Taro does next. Hopefully he gets a good/decent budget.

I'd be excited to hear that news, but I'm not since NA on Steam hasn't been fixed yet. It hasn't even received a single patch either.

I've yet to play Nier Automata although I've played the demo and really enjoyed it, I'll definitely be picking it up at some point, and I've still never actually finished the first game either lol... but either way, this is good news indeed!

Exact sentiments here.  I will get Nier Automata in the future and this is excellent news.

Lube Me Up

Well I hated the first Nier, good story but everything else sucked. A good story is not enough for me to enjoy a game, although there are exceptions. Automata almost the same but this time the combat was great. Great story, some great locations but rather small and you need to visit them a 100 times to complete those outdated and boring fetch quests. The combat is really the only thing that stood out in comparison with the first game. So a new game without platinum could end up worse.

Edit: music was also great in both games

Looking forward to what comes of this...

Great news. Next, give that man his own anime studio!
