Why would you compare the switch to the PS4 or X1, it is a handheld?

So, it needs to be compared to the 3ds or 2ds.

I own all three and there is no comparison between the Switch and the Xb1/Ps4.... Different products

Shouldn't be compared with two different consoles. I don't care what Microsoft says, Xbox X is a totally new console that plays Xbox One games.

As of THIS year's sales or total sales ongoing? The answer for both is 3 years quite obviously, but it will change what month it accomplishes the goal if we're talking about future xb1 sales as well.

Saying 3 years also doesn't imply that the Switch will outsell the PS4, that is a ridiculous statement. The PS4 sold around 50 million by it's third year. I just think Switch will get to 35-40 by then.

Also don't see how 4 years is reasonable to be honest. Edit: Ok maybe it's more reasonable than I thought...

I'm not going to make those predictions until we see more Xbox One X sales figures but I doubt it will be a lot for 2018

Also this is year per year, as in march 2017 - march 2018. So I think it will pass it in march 2020 or a few months later

That is not my statement... Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I wanted to suggest the "possibility" (did you see the "?") of switch sales being faster than those of ps4 within 3 years. By no means did I raise the possibility of Switch exceeding ps4 in just 3 years, which is absolutly and unquestionably impossible, save for some kind of bizarre and unpredictable phenomenon.
