I could imagine that Mario Kart can stay ahead of Odyssey.

Odyssey will pass it rather quickly but long term Mario Kart will retake the lead.

That scenario is also realistic.

Two games that did release yesterday (12/12/17) :

Update October 28th 2017 :

Super Mario Odyssey is there ! Hype !.

Poi Explorer Edition and Just Dance 2018 (???????) are not ranked by VGC.
About that, the list of unranked games is getting bigger and bigger, which is sad. Just Dance 17 is ranked and Just Dance 18 is not. Does someone know why there are some games like this, is it a bug ?

Anyway, I may try to include some of them in the future (those for which we can find numbers on their specific page...)

Weekly Top sellers were : 1) Super Mario Odyssey ; 2) Mario Kart 8 ; 3) Zelda

There are 42 switch retail games ranked by VGC.

Number of 100k sellers : 24 (+2)
Number of 200k sellers : 14 (+2)
Number of 500k sellers : 8 (+1)
Number of 1M sellers : 6 (+2)
Number of 2M sellers : 4 (+1)
Number of 5M sellers : 0

Awesome opening for Super Mario Odyssey at #4. Nights of Azure 2 is getting away from last spot thanks to western release....

Numbers this week are a bit strange as Global weekly sales on the site do not match to LTD total weekly increase for many games...For instance, Zelda went from 4.07M to 4.27M when global weekly sales are under 100k... Were there adjustements ?

I wrote in the adjustment thread (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=233003&page=1) following comment to Machina:

Did you also made an adjustment of some other Switch games? For instance 1-2-Switch was last week around 30000 units short of being over a million. According to the weekly global charts it did less than 35000 units. Now it is standing at 1025000 units. Did it got an adjustment of around 20000 or is there a mistake?

Also Symbio63 mentioned in his last post of his thread that something seem to be odd about the numbers of Switch games:

Thanks, let's wait for Machina's answer then.

These numbers are really interesting. The Switch needs definitely more successful third party games. It is quite one sided.
