I knew the whole agenda of this ongoing tirade against Blizzard was because they "left out other platforms". It was only a matter of time to get the actual reasoning behind this thread's existence.

I agree, the main reason is because they left out other platforms. Everyone allready played it on PC, there is no reason to repurchase it again espacially since the original is for free now and plays eactley the same. 

All what you get is the new graphics and Ranked match ups, everything else you can access for free. At least on consoles you would have something different because it doesnt exist on the platform.

By that logic, there is no need to release older games from previous console gens onto the current gen, and instead release all the older games onto PC as all those that played the originals on console "had already purchased them".

On consoles you wouldn't get anything different. You already have a few RTS games in general and SC is meant to be played with K+M in general.

It's a PC game. Revisit the sales in 20 years time when the game is still selling.
The original StarCraft didn't hit 10 million sales over night you know.

In-case you aren't aware... PC game sales suffer from a phenomena known as "legs". They just keep on selling, just keep on selling, just keep on selling.

According to his "flop" logic, PC sales are basically dead for nearly any game.
