What is the Decaff with Anime Club?
I want this to be an ongoing series were all the people on and beyond VGC are able to join in a large group activity.
I want this to be a place where people who don't normally watch anime are able to find cool shows to watch, enjoy, disscuss and critique.
I hope that this will evolve into a thing that is able to add value to existing members, and give people who are not a active a reason to become active.
I want this to be a thing that some people can point to and say "this is why I come to this site".

Nominating, Voting and Rules:
Each person will get three points to vote with.
You can use your three points on any anime, with any level of fragmentation you desire.
If you want to put all three of your points into your own nomination, you can.
If you want to change your allocation of points at any time, just edit your last post, or add a new one to the thread; I will tally them at the end of the voting period.
If you want to, you are able to sacrifice two of your points to take one point from the tally of whatever anime you decide.
Please only nominate one anime per poll.
A show must be under 30 episodes long or less.
Only if each episode is about 20 mins can it get to 30.
Do not nominate a show that is longer than 10 hours, people have lives.
Do not nominate a show that is not a first season, keep it beginner friendly.

My nomination:
Before I start, I know, I have a Hell Girl avatar, I should have nominated it right.
But Hell Girl is 26 episodes and I don't want to push such a daunting show for my first poll.

Blood Blockade Battlefront(Kekkai Sensen):
It is a 12 episode, short, sweet, fast paced, enjoyable show.
Blood Blockade Battlefront is a good show to take your first step into the world of anime.
With enjoyable animation, a decent story and good vibes for everyone.
Jump into a world with disgusting monsters who just want to live their lives, vampires, fish people and an extraordinary power.
And yeah; boy, oh boy That World!

~4 hours of bliss.
If you enjoy it there is a second season to look forward too later this year.

Cool idea. 3 things.

1. Thread is in the gaming section
2. In the second paragraph you say game instead of anime which was confusing to me.
3. The rules are kinda overkill. Just let people nominate some animes in one week and make a simple poll after that.

1. Dam I forgot to change that.
2. I had to roll back to a prior draft as I lost some progress on the final post in the formatting stage.
3. I want the voting to be more fluid, the simple polls on this site don't allow me to do that here.

My nomination is Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I loved the original film, so I really want to see this too!!

I'll nominate Fooly Cooly (FLCL).

It's basically required viewing for any anime fan and it's only six episodes. Basically a perfect starter show.

Yeah, I should of thought of it.
It is the perfect length to kick things off.
