Not yet, shortly after purchase I threw in a 2 TB drive and haven't quite filled it yet. Alas eventually I will likely go the external route. You're reading from a guy that put a 4TB external on his WiiU.

Unlike others I do like to horde my digital games, nothing like scrolling at hyper speed for 40 seconds to get to your Library icon. I have already moved all the crap unused icons into folders, I want that 40 seconds of scrolling to be nothing but games zipping past.

I have been using it. I have a 4TB Samsung Evo SSD internal, and a 5TB Segate External. I am keeping all of the VR stuff internal, and any game I am playing currently. Otherwise, the rest is sitting on the external.

I really wish we could hold pictures, videos, and music on the drive. I had about a gig in a half of content I on the external. Then the update made you choose between the games and the other content. So now I am back to Spotify only for music, and if I want to look at any family videos or photos, it has to happen on the PS3.

Hopefully in the future Sony will finally allow us to store all data on either internal or external drives.

Hot damn a 4 TB SSD internal ... how much did that set you back?  I'd love to go high capacity SSD but I'm still a cheap bastard.

I know a while back, people were defending Sony's decision to prohibit external HDD support. The argument was that it looked ugly, invited piracy, changing out the internal HDD was better, and it possibly caused ghosts to inhabit the console. All legit reasons.

Who the hell would argue against the option? Does it really invite piracy? How?

I haven't used it at all but I really wanted the feature as I know a lot of people would.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Its nice to have, but at the end of the day I ended up not really using it as much as I thought I would.

I went with a 512GB SDD internal drive replacement and then got a 4TB external HDD.

The plan was to have the games that I play often or I am currently playing be on the internal drive and everything else be on the external drive......

Now I have noticed that I send games there to die.

I really should be using an external, as all I've got is the 500gb hd. I just keep forgetting to buy one.

No idea. It's just what people used to say.

Probably somewhere in this thread. Can't look now. Watching a movie: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=222079&page=1

Nope, not using it. I already have to much clutter with 1Tb storage, too much scrolling to find stuff. If you can't find anything to delete when the 1Tb drive is full, finish something first! Less installed, faster booting, less scroll time! (What's up with that rebuilding database every time you turn on the ps4?)

Is it not possible to organize stuff on the PS4?

I don't, but primarily because PS4 is not my primary console. I mostly just use it for some exclusives or notable content I get on PS+.
